1. When you go on a vacation in a foreign country you can easily read directions
2. When someone comes over from another country you can talk to them and help them out
3. You can make a lot more friends!  The more languages you know the more friends from all over you can have!
4. You can get a boyfriend/girlfriend who might be your soul-mate, who speaks another language and it will be easy to communicate with them.
5. You can communicate for business in another language, and possibly get more sales!
6. When you're in public you can speak it when you want to talk about someone without them knowing.
7. You can get paid a lot to be a translator in business meetings
8. When you're applying for a job it looks better than only knowing one.
9. Colleges love the fact that you can speak more than one language
10. You can open your mind up to other ideas written in other languages
11. You can be a foreign exchange student at another school and communicate with everyone there
12. You can fluently sing songs in other languages, and it sounds so pretty!
13. When you're upset you can vent your feelings and no one would know what you're saying!  It would sound like a bunch of mumbo-jumbo and you would end up feeling better in the end!
